They are farmed in the clean sandy waters of the Camel Estuary in Cornwall and have a good ratio of salinity and freshwater from the river. Their flavour profile is creamy and buttery with a clean fresh cucumber finish. This is an oyster with a delicate nose and a lasting finish.
Porthilly Oyster Farm produces a year-round supply of beautiful Rock oysters. The shells have a lovely clean deep cup, and a distinctive zebra stripe patterning.
